Seminole HRPO – Leah Leading Final Table

stacks of chips

The final table of six has now been reached in the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open Main Event after the 18 players that began the day were once again reduced throughout Day 4.

Going into Day 5 with the chip lead is Mike Leah on 15,445,000 chips but he has a very tough final table to get past before he can claim the title. He has the likes of Big One for One Drop winner Dan Colman, Shawn Cunix and Martin Hanowski all chasing him down.

One of those players will walk away with$1,446,710 and the title whilst the minimum each will earn is $324,269. This will of course ensure that the final table is keen contested with each player having an eye on the title and of course the highest payout.

Day 4 began with 18 players spread across two tables and it did not take long for the eliminations to begin. Out of the event went the likes of Blake Bohn, Brian Hawkins and Roman Valerstein, though they will be fairly satisfied with getting so far. They may have opted to enter one of the many other events being held at the Seminole this year.

Bohn was actually the final table bubble boy after being eliminated by Leah. In an interesting hand Bohn pushed all-in over the top of a raise by Leah when holding the Qh-Jc. Leah who had the 9s-8s then took quite a lot of time to make his decision which eventually led to Dan Colman calling the clock on him. He did eventually call and got lucky when the board fell as the 8d-7h-5s-3d-10c.

That meant that the final table had been reached and the final six were able to head off to get some sleep before their busy final day which kicks off today at 12pm local time.

The great news is that you can watch it live over on PokerStars.tv. However, if you are not around to watch, you can always rely on our final report tomorrow which will fill you in with all of the details.
