This announcement has set the poker community into frenzy as there will be thousands flocking to the rails in order to witness this challenge.
The two players have also stated their excitement at taking part with Polk saying to the blog on Full Tilt Poker “I’m really looking forward to this. It’s hard to get a game with these stakes against anyone nowadays, Also, I’ve never gotten to play in a challenge type format, which certainly changes the dynamic substantially. I think that Sauce is definitely a great player, a pioneer of modern-day poker strategy.”
Both players have had success with each other in the past with their records actually evening themselves out across all encounters. This means it will be very interesting to see which player will actually come out on top.
Sulsky earned the most profit during 2012 regarding online high stakes action and though he is struggling a bit this year, he is certainly one of the most feared online players around. Polk is having a good year this year and is a highly regarded heads up specialist that would like to show he has what it takes to beat Sulsky.
