It would be fair to say that life hadn’t been too easy for Hac “trex313” Dang at the high stakes tables this year, with him suffering losses totaling around $700k during that time. However, things have certainly swung back the other way since then with him recording profits of $888k over the past couple of days.
This has meant that all of his early year losses have now been clawed back and in fact put him into profit for the year.
He took home this profit whilst playing at the 2-7 Triple Draw tables and Pot Limit Omaha tables, with him up against opponents like Tom “durrrr” Dwan, Phil “Polarizing” Ivey, Ben “Sauce1234” Sulsky and Phil “OMGClayAiken” Galfond. He took an initial $250k on the 2-7 Triple Draw tables in one session before moving over to the Pot Limit Omaha tables and earning another $400k and $230k in separate sessions.
This also meant that he was obviously involved in some of the biggest pots throughout this period, with his biggest being against Phil Ivey. He scored the pot totaling $226.3k after hitting a set on the turn before seeing it improve to a full house on the river.
He then went on to win one against “ziigmund” with him this time making a straight on the river to claim a pot of $173.6k.
There were other big pots that didn’t involve “trex313” with the biggest of them being between “Ziigmund”,”Bttech86” and “patpatpanda”. The three way action created a pot of $210.3k which went to “Ziigmund” when he again manages to river a straight.
Nobody could touch the profits made by “trex313”, though there were others that managed six figure profits. “OMGClayAiken” took home $207.1k despite losing a bunch to the biggest profit maker, whilst “DealMeInFast” earned $174.8k at the very same session at the 2-7 Triple Draw tables.
“PostFlopAction” also had a good day at the office, taking home $128.8k which was won across a number of tables, though the majority was scored at the mixed game tables.
With regards to the biggest losing players, it was Phil Ivey who topped the list. He lost another $566k which means he has dropped a million during the past week alone. He wasn’t the only big loser though, with Ilari Sahamies dropping another six figure amount.
