The UK & Ireland Dublin Main Event has come to an end after Kevin Killeen managed to turn his start of day chip lead into an end of day celebration. He managed to hold off the big threat of Max Silver during heads up to take home the title and the €87,700 first place payout.

It all sounds very simple but it really wasn’t as Killeen was under huge pressure from Silver on a number of occasions and could have quite easily come out as the runner up had the cards not fallen his way. He managed to double up through Silvers’ stack four times when his tournament life was at risk before finally coming out as the winner.
2nd for €53,700. Had him all in at risk 4 times but wasn’t to be. Congrats @killeenkevin18 who played great!

Silver will be more than content with another great performance in this event. In the last four UKIPT Dublin Main Events he has made the final table on three occasions and come out as the winner from one of them. He will be a little disappointed that the cards did not fall for him during heads up in order to claim his second title but the payout of €53,700 will certainly help to quell that disappointment a little bit.
