UKIPT Edinburgh Day 3 – Beazley, Boeree Lead Final Table

Liv Boeree

The final table at the PokerStars UK & Ireland Poker Tour Edinburgh has now been set after Day 3 of the event saw the remaining 36 players reduced down to just the final eight that will now do battle for the title once the event starts back up a little later today.

The player that will be leading that table once it gets underway today is Jason Beazley after a very successful day at the felt brought his chip tally up to 2,300,000. He is very closely followed by PokerStars Team Pro Liv Boeree who managed to increase her chip count to 2,229,000 on Day 3.

They both lead a final table that includes the likes of Dean Hutchinson, Eldon Orr and Michael Kane, with each of them looking to have a good final table and push themselves further up the rankings to possibly give themselves a chance at taking home the title.

There had to be 28 eliminations on Day 3 and the highest profile of them has to be that of PokerStars Team Pro Mickey Petersen who got unlucky to be sent out of the event when he was holding Ax-Qx. His opponent also had the Ad-Qd and was fortunate to see three diamonds come down onto the board.

Joining Petersen on the rail on Day 3 was Sam Grafton, John Hall and Chris Gordon, all players that would have been capable of taking down this ever popular event.

The final table will start up at noon GMT today and will play down until there is just one player remaining with all of the chips in the event. Could it be Boeree? Come back tomorrow for our final report to find out.
