Day 1c at the UK & Ireland Poker Tour Nottingham Main Event is now in the books as another 629 players took their places at the felt in order to try and establish themselves into Day 2. This brought us up to 1,223 registrations for the event though just 331 of them have done what they would have initially set out to do.

Finishing the day as chip leader was Ben Miller on 264,200 chips and he actually has the most of all players that have advanced into Day 2.

There were four PokerStars Team Pros that took part on Day 1c in the shape of Liv Boeree, Chris Moneymaker, Fatima Moreira de Melo and Mattias De Meulder however only the latter two of them did enough to advance.

Dave Ulliott and Karl Mahrenmolz were two of the other big names to progress whilst Roberto Romanello, Andrew Badecker and Julian Thew were among the many that busted out on Day 1c.

Day 2 gets underway again at noon today and will see those 331 players attempt to make it into the money with only the top 183 players set to walk away with a cash. Join us tomorrow to discover which of the players managed that and which will have to go back to the drawing board.
