Day 2 of the UK & Ireland Poker Tour Nottingham saw the 331 survivors of the opening day flights get together for the very first time with just 49 of them coming out of the other end. Those players are now safely in the money with the bubble being burst when Edward Clark was eliminated in 184th place.

The man that leads going into Day 3 today is Spanish player Juan Benito who amassed a very impressive chip count of 1,473,000. That is more than 250k better than his closest rival Ben Vinson in second place and he will be confident of getting a good score here today.

At least he is guaranteed a score as the likes of Dermot Blain, Max Silver and Robbie Bull all busted before the money. Making the money but still busting on the day was PokerStars Team Pros Jake Cody, Fatima Moreira de Melo along with former EPT winner Tom Middleton and Dave Ulliott.

Join us tomorrow to catch up on the action that starts again at noon with the intent being to reduce the players down to the final table.
