As far as the online high stakes tables at both PokerStars and Full Tilt are concerned, it was another week in the bag and another week where hundreds of thousands of dollars had exchanged hands.
It was not the busiest of weeks but as usual there were the usual suspects looking to bring in some profits and avoid suffering any losses. However, as we know in poker, it is not always possible to get what you want in terms of results.
Take a look at how the last week at the tables panned out and who came away with smiles on their faces and who came away looking a little bit angry with themselves.
The Saturday before last was a fairly quiet affair at the high stakes tables but it did bring a nice win for “bbvisbadforme” after he claimed a score of $101.7k when taking on “PostFlopAction” at the 2-7 Triple Draw tables. The two only played a short session of a little more than 90 minutes but it was all that was needed for the victor.
After very little action at both PokerStars and Full Tilt on the Sunday before last, it was Monday that saw our next big winner. On this occasion it was “thecortster” who topped the profits with $181.2k nestled nicely in his poker account. He could have had more too if he had quit after taking $230k from “Alexonmoon” instead of playing at a number of other tables.
Despite losing a bunch of money on Monday, Alex “Alexonmoon” Luneau went on to claw a good chunk of it back on Tuesday after recording profits of $149.1k. The great news for him was that it was against the player that he had originally lost to the day before. They were playing at the 2-7 Triple Draw tables for almost 6 hours before they finally called it a day.
Thursday was a bit quiet and we saw no six figure winners, though we did have one player in “Kagome Kagome” that came close. He was playing at the $2k/$4k 2-7 Triple Draw tables against “SanIker” and came away with decent profits of $92.9k.
The run continued for “Kagome Kagome” the very next day as he scored the biggest profits of the week so far. He banked $300.7k after a six hour session on the 2-7 Triple Draw tables with the main contributor to his wins being Alex “Alexonmoon” Luneau. Another big winner on the day was “joiso” who enjoyed profits of $201.7k.
“Kagome Kagome” was on fire yet again and finished the week with combined profits of more than $500k after winning another $129.2k on Saturday just gone. This was once again at the popular 2-7 Triple Draw tables and once again against Alex “Alexonmoon” Luneau who had a week full of ups and downs.
