WPT Borgata Winter Poker Open Day 3 – Jattin Leads 36

Poker chips

The field in the World Poker Tour Borgata Winter Poker Open has now been reduced to just the final four tables and the 36 players that will be sitting at them after Day 3 went about getting to that number from the 190 that had begun the day.

Leading those 36 is Farid Jattin after a very productive day at the felt saw him move into a healthy chip lead with a total of 3,818,000. The biggest names in the top ten that are chasing Jattin down are that of Jared Jaffee and Faraz Jaka, with the former actually sitting in second place currently with a chip count of 2,340,000.

The most notable players that are still in the event but outside of the top ten are John D’Agostino, Joe Serock, John Dibella and Byron Kaverman. They will all be looking forward to Day 4 and hopefully climbing the rankings and making it to the final table to be held on Friday.

Those Who Couldn’t Quite Make The Cut

John Racener, Dan Heimiller, Matt Afleck, Dan O’Brien and Andy Frankenberger were the most notable eliminations on Day 3, with each now having to contemplate which tournament they will head for next. With the Aussie Millions rumbling along nicely that might be the desired destination for the players this weekend.

The final 36 in this event will now play down until there are just the nine that will battle it out on the final table. Be sure to come back to find out just which players they are.
