WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open Day 1a/1b Roundup!
With the EPT in Deauville being wrapped up over the past few days, there was also another event just kicking off. The World Poker Tour Lucky Hearts Open started on Friday with Day 1a of the event and yesterday saw Day 1b.
We are going to have a brief look at both days, to see what players have progressed and which once fell.
Day 1a!
There were 153 players taking part in Day 1a, though by the time the day ended there were just 63 left. It was Raj Vohra that ended the first flight with the most chips as he bagged up 262,700 on the night.
Players eliminated from Day 1a included Victor Ramdin, Adam Levy, Allen Kessler and Joe Serock, though the latter did re-enter in Day 1b and make it through safely.

Day 1b!
The second flight of Day 1 saw 216 players join the fun in this event with 80 of them doing enough to see themselves into Day 2 along with the 63 survivors from the first flight. The player that found himself on top of the pile for the day but not the event overall was Evan Teitelbaum.
He had 206,900 by the end of the day though not enough to grab the overall event lead from the Day 1a chip leader Raj Vohra with 262,700.
Players eliminated from Day 1b included Brian Hastings, Mukul Pahuja, Micah Raskin and Andy Frankenberger.

The prize pool was calculated yesterday as well, with the combined field of 369 players generating a total of $1,199.250. There will be just 36 players taking home a share of that, with the top prize of $323,804 going to the eventual winner. The minimum prize will be $7,795 for any of the players that do make it into the top 36.
