WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Day 1a

Poker chips

Day 1a at the World Poker Tour Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown has now been completed and after attracting 479 registrations including re-buys, we are now down to 175 and the well known pro Justin Young leading with 313,200 chips.

He walks away with the $5k bonus for being the overnight chip leader and sits above the likes of Ryan D’Angelo and Jonathan Roy in the top ten.

Further back in the field are a whole bunch of other notable names with the likes of Ryan Riess, Corey Burbick, Loni Harwood, Matt Salsberg, Scotty Nguyen, Dan Shak and PokerStars Team Pros Eugene Katchalov and Nacho Barbero all heading into Day 2.

Of the players that were eliminated and will have to think about re-entering again later for Day 1b include Jennifer Tilly, Mohsin Charania, Jarrad Jaffee and Justin Zaki. The majority are likely to buy back in, which will ensure an even bigger field for Day 1b.
