WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Day 3

WSOP chips

The World Poker Tour Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown is now getting right down to the business end after Day 3 chopped the field from 114 players to just 18. Leading those two tables of players currently is Jacob Bazeley on 8,065,000 chips and it is looking like he is the man to beat right now.

We are sure he will not have it all his own way with the caliber of player still involved. Chance Kornuth is behind him in second place on 6,885,000 whilst the likes of Justin Young, Mukul Pahuja, Matt Stout, Barry Hutter, Jeff Gross and Matt Glantz are still in with a great chance.

The 18 players will now be sure of a payout of at least $29,985 and will be looking to run that amount up as high as the $1 million that is on offer for the eventual winner. Among those that will not be getting those higher payouts having been eliminated on Day 3 are the likes of Shawn Cunix, Ryan Eriquezzo, Mohsin Charania and Noah Schwartz.

Day 4 starts at noon ET once again and will see those 18 players condensed down to the final of table of six. Join us for our report on that action tomorrow as soon as the event finishes.
