Day 15 of the World Series of Poker is now in the bag and we have had another day full of gold as three WSOP bracelets were awarded. Dominik Nitsche, Doug Polk and Christopher Wallace were the players that have added WSOP titles to their C.V’s but there were plenty of other strong perfomances put in by players throughout the day.

It has to feel great being Dominik Nitsche right now. Just last month he won the first bracelet of the series when he took down the World Series of Poker Circuit National Championship and here he is again getting another bracelet in this event. This brings his tally up to three in his career and he will looking to see if he can pick any more up during this series.
He won $335,659 after seeing off Dave D’Alesandro during heads up and will now be planning his next assault on the WSOP.

The HORSE poker variation is widely accepted as the toughest one to win when it comes to tournament play, with so many different games being involved a player needs to be considered a master in each of them.
The man that proved to be the best this time around was Christopher Wallace as he beat Randy Ohel heads up to claim the bracelet and $507,614 winner’s payout.

Doug Polk is not a name that many from the live tournament poker scene may recognise, yet his online screen name of “WCGRider” would certainly be known. He is one of the world’s best online high stakes cash players and has made millions from the game. His live career on the other hand has only seen a million made in total.
Well now he has a World Series of Poker bracelet to his name and a nice little sweetener of $251,969 after he beat the field in this turbo event.

This event was a fresh one on Day 15 of the World Series of Poker and it saw 541 players taking to the felt. This number was reduced quickly throughout Day 1 and finished with just 129 going into Day 2. Chris Hunichen had the best start in this event after finishing up with 177,600 chips.
He will be joined into Day 2 by the likes of Freddy Deeb, Greg Merson and Liv Boeree.
