WSOP Day 34 – Another Day Another Bracelet

The majority of eyes might be on the World Series of Poker ‘Big One For One Drop’ event that started up last night but Day 34 of the WSOP still had a selection of other events playing out too.  These events even brought us another WSOP bracelet winner so take a look at our summary of the events below.

Event #51 – $1.5k NLJE Monster Stack Day 4 – Pingray Leads Final Nine

Day 4 of this hugely popular event finally saw the final table revealed from the original 7,862 players that started this event a few days ago. Hugo Pingray has the chip lead with 22,700,000 but there are many other big stacks capable of chipping away at him.

This event brought us another bracelet winner after coming into Day 3 among the final 20 players and emerging at the other end with all of the chips. He defeated Zach Freeman heads up to claim his bracelet and the $297,650 payout.

Day 2 of this event saw the 268 players that had managed to progress this far, return to the felt before being once again reduced in numbers to just the 17 that will compete for the bracelet. David Jackson will go into that final day with the chip lead but still has a bit of work to do just yet.

Event 56 saw Day 1 bring in 2,525 players looking to get their hands on one of the few remaining bracelets of the series but after ten levels only 206 of them still had that chance. Raymond Chen was the player that finished with the chip lead on Day 1 having amassed 130,400.
