WSOP Main Event Champion Ryan Riess in Twitter Q&A

Q & A

There has been a lot of talk recently about the responsibilities that World Series of Poker Main Event champions should or should not have, with many wondering what sort of direction the latest of them in Ryan Riess will go.

Well he certainly is not shy to give an interview and air his thoughts and he has now given his fans a chance to learn a little bit more about him by hosting his very own Twitter Q&A session.

Ryan Riess took home the World Series of Poker Main Event last November for a payout of $8,361,570 after beating Jay Farber heads -p and has since planned to take part in a selection of High Roller events this year.

Take a look at some of the questions fans were keen to know the answer to below:

He gave his fans and peers alike the opportunity to ask him anything for thirty minutes and there was unsurprisingly a whole host of questions fired at him in a frantic fashion. We have included a selection but if you want to see the whole session just go and take a look at his Twitter account.

This was his first Q&A and we have to admit that it worked out quite well. It is this sort of thing that will no doubt endear him to the public and of course to those that really do feel there is an element of responsibility for WSOP winners to promote the game and give a little back.

We expect that there will plenty more to come from the new champion in the coming months and years and we of course will be on hand to make sure that you all know about it.
