The World Series of Poker Circuit National Championship has been running for the past couple of days with 126 players buying in that have now been reduced to just the final table of six that will play out to a winner later on tonight.
There were 50 players that managed to navigate themselves into the second day of the event but after a tough session at the felt it was the British player Matthew Ashton that came out as the chip leader going into the final day.
He sits on 1,422,000 chips and is looking extremely comfortable at the top. He will of course still be very wary of the other players at the table, especially that of the well known pro Dominik Nitsche.
Beginning to get the hang of this 2 card poker business. First outdoor final table since 1997 beginning in 11 hours #runningpure

There were many big name players that signed up for this event and many of them were eliminated on Day 2 such as Stephen Chidwick, Loni Harwood and Jamie Kerstetter who all busted before the bubble. Those lucky enough to have made the money but still bust on the day included Greg Merson and Scott Clements.
Started the day feeling like a stable human being. Then busted a $10k and went bikini shopping. Crying myself to sleep, see y’all tmrw.
